Kickstart Scheme
Have you heard about the new Kickstart Scheme?
It’s a government-funded work placement programme for young people aged 16 to 24 who receive Universal Credit.
We’ve been accepted as a Kickstart Scheme employer through the NYBEP (North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership Ltd) gateway. NYBEP support the young person with wrap around employability support throughout the placement, and support employers through the process.
We will soon be looking to recruit:
- Trainee Mechanic – 25 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends
- Trainee Administrator – 25 hours per week over 5 days between Monday to Friday
Placements are for 6 months, 25 hours a week and the pay is National Minimum Wage.
