We’re thrilled to announce All Together Now, a special two-day event that celebrates the joy of cycling for everyone, regardless of ability, and marks the official launch of our transformative Pathways to Pedals programme.

What Makes This Event Special?

At Get Cycling, we believe that cycling should be accessible to all. Our All Together Now event embodies this vision by providing a safe, welcoming space where people with disabilities, their families, and supporters can explore various cycling options and connect with others in the community.

Launching Pathways to Pedals

We’re particularly excited to use this event to introduce our new Pathways to Pedals programme – an initiative designed to support people with disabilities on their cycling journey. This programme offers:

• Personalised cycling assessments
• Social cycling sessions
• Access to loans of inclusive cycles
• Community support and connection

During All Together Now, visitors can learn about the programme, meet our experienced team, and sign up for a cycle loan or future cycling session. This launch represents a significant step forward in making cycling truly accessible for everyone in York.

Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do. The York Railway Institute venue has been carefully chosen for its excellent accessibility features, including:

• Step-free access throughout the building
• Accessible parking spaces
• Wheelchair-accessible toilets
• Wide doorways and ramps
• Indoor space protected from weather

The Event Programme

Sunday (23rd February) is our family-focused day, perfect for individuals with disabilities and their families to:

Monday (24th February) is dedicated to community outreach, where local organisations can:

• Experience our specialist cycling equipment
• Learn about our Pathways to Pedals programme and partnership opportunities
• Network with other support services
• Discover ways to integrate inclusive cycling into their services

We’re actively seeking local organisations who would like to showcase their services and resources at the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with the disabled community in York and share information about your support services.
