Hase Trigo Nexus

The Hase Trigo Nexus is designed for anyone looking for a super-stable semi-recumbent tricycle. Offering all the handling benefits of the delta layout at an affordable price, our customers love the wonderfully comfortable, stable riding position and the smooth-shifting Shimano Nexus gears.

Features:

  • Modular design
  • Flexible and easily adjustable
  • Agile handling
  • Low centre of gravity for safety and stability
  • Shimano Steps E-motor option

Like its Kettwiesel cousin, the Trigo Nexus has a low seat between its rear wheels for extreme stability, and a single wheel in front for outstanding agility.

“Can I try?” On the Trigo Nexus, you’ll hear this question a lot, and it’s a great chance to show off the trike’s flexibility. The modules of the delta trike move along guide rails and are infinitely adjustable without tools. As a result, the recumbent Trigo can be quickly adjusted to a new rider. Provided that the rider is between 4’7” (1.40 m) and 6’7” (2 m) in height.

For the length adjustment, all you have to do is open a lever and slide the seat into the appropriate position. No need for tools and no need to shorten or lengthen the chain!

The Trigo Nexus even has adjustable handlebar grips: both the angle and width are adjustable, ensuring that every rider can enjoy the perfect hand position for steering, grip-shifting, and braking. And the seat tilt can be set to your preferred position using a quick-release mechanism.

Once you’ve experienced how fast you can travel in a comfy, recumbent seat, you’ll be hooked. And if you plan on using the Trigo Nexus for more than simply sports and leisure, then be sure to check out the wide range of recumbent-trike accessories. For example, the Roller Rack, Roller Bag, and Foldable Fairing are all extremely practical for everyday use. The same applies to the Shimano Steps mid-motor, which can be retrofitted to the Trigo Nexus in a few simple steps.

Adapt and Customise

Electric motor: Shimano Steps E5000

5-point lap & shoulder harness system – with or without shoulder pads – for the front rider.

Differential: differentials allow both rear wheels to be driven – balancing out the drive forces – and this makes going round corners the same whichever way you turn. Without a differential all pedalling forces travel through one wheel – a differential makes it much less likely to lose traction in slippery conditions.

Extension bar for riders 1.95m – 2.15m

Other available options include a choice of fenders, racks and bags, seats including lap-belt and armrest, foldable fairings, trailer hitch, rear view mirror, indicators, wheel covers and more.

A range of adaptations is available. See the Accessories & Adaptations section of this website.
