Wheels for Wellbeing peer mentors needed
Our wonderful friends over at Wheels for Wellbeing are an incredible organisation committed to removing barriers to cycling.
They are soon launching an inclusive cycle hire scheme for Disabled Londoners and are on the lookout for experienced Disabled cyclists who may be interested in becoming a (virtual) Peer Mentor for some of these hirers.
A Peer Mentor will enjoy listening to people and helping address their queries by sharing personal knowledge and experience.
They are seeking enthusiastic cyclists, ideally with an experience of cycling in an urban area such as London – whether n roads, traffic-free cycle routes or in parks. And don’t worry if you haven’t been a Peer Mentor before as Wheels for Wellbeing will support you in the role.
If you are interested you can find all the information and the application forms here: wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk/virtual-peer-mentor
We think it’s a great initiative and wish Wheels for Wellbeing and all their participants every success!
