Making Inclusive Cycling More Affordable

At Get Cycling CIC, we believe that cost should not be a barrier to cycling.

Making cycling accessible to everyone is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we work hard to offer a range of options that help people find a cycle that suits both their needs and their budget.

Supporting access to cycling

We know that specialist and inclusive cycles can be a significant investment. However, for many people, the right cycle can provide independence, confidence, improved wellbeing, and greater opportunities to travel and stay active.

Because of this, we are committed to helping customers explore the most affordable route into cycling.

New and refurbished cycles

Alongside our range of new cycles, we often have refurbished cycles available.

Refurbished cycles can offer excellent value while maintaining the quality, reliability, and support that customers expect. As a result, they can be a great option for people looking to start their cycling journey at a lower cost.

Try before you buy

Finding the right cycle is just as important as finding the right price.

We encourage customers to visit our York showroom and try different cycle options wherever possible. This allows you to explore what feels comfortable and suitable before making a decision.

Our team can help you compare different cycle types, including:

• Tricycles
• Handcycles
• Tandems
• Recumbent cycles
• Side-by-side cycles
• Wheelchair transport cycles

Funding and support

In many cases, funding may be available to help with the cost of a cycle.

We regularly support customers by signposting funding opportunities and sharing information about grants that may be suitable for their circumstances.

Furthermore, our team can help explain the options available and point you towards useful resources.
