University students research project
Each year from January to March the University of York Management School offer student consultancy projects to local businesses. The university students who take part are studying a wide variety of management subjects and join together as teams to then be allocated a business that most meets their interest areas.
As part of our goal to positively contribute to our local community wherever we can, Get Cycling CIC has collaborated with students from the University of York for the past four years on research projects that have been invaluable to informing the services we offer and how we deliver upcoming projects.
This year, to try and gain a deeper understanding of the needs of our potential and existing customers. Yan, Shivam, Henry and Marisa from the University of York have worked together to create a short survey on brand awareness that will hopefully do just that.
The management students are also assisting on a project to provide free cycle loans to care homes and community groups for people with disabilities in York and Yorkshire. If you’d like to hear more about this project please contact admin@getcycling.org.uk.
Many thanks to Yan, Shivam, Henry, Marisa from the University of York for all your hard work.
