MagPed magnetic pedals
Magped Enduro magnetic pedals require less force to engage than other clipless pedal types, whilst still retaining the rider’s foot securely. With the Magped pedal the rider is connected to the bike, like clipless pedals, but with the freedom of a flat/platform pedal. Because the pedals and cleats are not locked together, Magpeds offer the safety of flat platform pedal and the performance of clipless pedal. Magped’s magnets are the strongest in a north/south (straight up/down) direction on the pedals. When the foot starts to move east/west (sideways) the force of the Magped magnets decreases resulting in an easy release of from the pedal. Riders get used to being able to quickly release with a simple movement of the foot to the side, feeling almost no resistance at all. A popular upgrade for recumbent cycles where riders appreciate not being ‘locked in’ to the pedals.

Pins mounted inside out and must be installed individually (supplied loose). Requires 2 hole SPD cycling shoes to fit cleats.

- 150N for biker up to 80 kg
- 200N for biker >75 kg
