Azub T-Trisek

Folding or separable trike for kids or short riders with all 20” wheels and no suspension

Experience Big Adventures on Our Small-Sized Trike

The T-Trisek is based on the successful AZUB T-Tris 20 model, which we have been producing since 2010, and which we have further modified to suit even small riders. The AZUB T-Trisek is therefore intended for riders with a height of at least 135 cm, i.e. 4 feet 3, or even a little less. The maximum size of the rider is then almost unlimited. With the long front boom, it is roughly 180 cm, i.e. 5 feet 11.

The growing trike

So here it is. A trike that fits riders from 135 cm, i.e. 4 feet 3, till 180 cm, i.e. 5 feet 11 or even more if needed. What does it mean? If you are a short adult, you can comfortably sit on this trike and feel as if it was built only and exclusively for you. If you are a parent of a child who needs a trike for whatever reason but will grow in the future, and perhaps by a lot, you can be sure that in a few years, you will not have to buy a new tricycle, but the trike will grow with your kid. And this is excellent news.

Small T-Tris is T-Trisek in Czech

Do you wonder why the trike has such a name? If you want to express that a masculine thing is smaller than usual, in our Czech language, add to the word or name the ending -ek. For example, a fence is a “plot” in Czech, but a small fence is “plotek”. And that’s why our little T-Tris is not called T-Tris MINI but T-Trisek. Of course, there are plenty of exceptions to this rule, but at least now you know where we came up with the name. For a long time, we wanted to have such a nice transferred Czech name among our model names, and this one fits perfectly.

The trike that will adjust to you

Let’s take a closer look at it. The T-Trisek is a recumbent trike with no suspension, but you can purchase it with a folding hinge for an additional fee, so It can easily fit in your car, a basement, or a small garage. And because we build our trikes according to the wishes and needs of our customers, you can also have the T-Tris made in different colors or even color combinations, with several different types of drivetrain, with or without an electric motor and, of course, with a lot of accessories, including headrest, for example. You can see all the options in our configurator, where there are also displayed different adaptations for people with disabilities, such as the high seat adapter, grab handles, modification of gear shifters or brakes so that they can be controlled with one hand only, electronic or even automatic shifting, and much more.

In addition to these pretty standard modifications, we can use components or design solutions that are not in the configurator, and maybe no one has invented them yet. Just ask us directly or through our dealer. We have already fulfilled multiple secret wishes and made many people happy.

Smooth adjustment of the seat

Ever since we started back in 2000, we have always thought that a bike should adapt to the rider and not the other way round. That’s why we used an adjustable seat for our first bike, in which both the angle and the pedal distance were adjustable. With each further development stage, we introduced a more accurate adjustment, until 2013, when we reached a stage of adjusting without positions. This concept is based on a sliding sleeve, which we produce in a straight version for our tricycles and some bicycles, as well as in a curved version for recumbents.

F2F – Fold To Flat

The folding mechanism on our tricycles is positioned in such a way that when you start folding the rear of the frame, the trike slowly “turns” and the rear wheel ends up folded flat. You also remove the seat and, if necessary, also the wheels, so the resulting package is remarkably small.

Folding mechanism

In 2015, we introduced a new folding mechanism we are really proud of. We wanted to create a folding tricycle that would be adequately stiff and whose folding mechanism would be smooth and easy to operate. The feedback from hundreds of AZUB riders has confirmed that we have definitely accomplished what we had planned.

Folding handlebars

It took us hours and hours of thinking and discussions before we thought up and then designed probably the most sophisticated folding handlebars in the world of recumbent tricycles. We would rather not mention the number of prototypes we have made…
