Funding Support for Inclusive Cycles

Get Help With Cycle Funding

Inclusive cycles open up a world of independence, fitness and fun — but we know the cost can sometimes be a barrier. The good news is that there are many charities, trusts, and other routes that may be able to help.

Here are just a few of the ways people fund their cycle:

National Charities and Grants
Many UK charities provide grants to support disabled people. Applications usually need:

  • A short form or letter explaining your situation
  • A supporting note from a professional (health worker, social worker, OT, or teacher)
  • An official quote from a cycle supplier

Databases of Support
Websites such as Disability Grants and Turn2Us let you search for funding opportunities based on your needs and where you live.

Crowdfunding
Platforms like GoFundMe, Crowdfunder, and JustGiving let you raise smaller donations from friends, family and the wider community. A sponsored ride or creative challenge can help attract attention and support.

Children’s Charities
If the cycle is for a child or young person, there are several national charities that may help — such as Family Fund, Caudwell Children, and Whizz-Kidz.
