Keeping the Freedom to Cycle: Sandra’s Story

Keeping the Freedom to Cycle: Sandra’s Story
For many people, finding the right cycle is only part of the journey. Being able to transport it safely can make the difference between cycling close to home and enjoying days out, holidays, and new adventures.
Sandra discovered just how important that was when she upgraded to an electrically assisted Pashley Tri-1.
A new chapter in cycling
Sandra’s husband found her a second-hand Tri-1 with electric assistance, giving her the opportunity to continue cycling with greater comfort and confidence.
However, transporting the tricycle presented a challenge.
Sandra explained:
“My husband has got me a new (second-hand) Tri-1 with electric assistance, which will make cycling so much easier for me and allow me to keep on getting out cycling.
The main thing is that without the trike rack, this would not have been possible as the trike would have been too heavy to get into our campervan, which is how we’ve transported my trike up to now, so you really have made a huge difference.”
For Sandra, the right transport solution didn’t just help move her tricycle. It helped her keep the independence and freedom that cycling brings.
Transporting a tricycle
We are often asked about transporting tricycles.
The options available continue to evolve, with different racks and transport systems designed to suit different tricycles and vehicles. Because every cycle is different, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution.
