Trying a cycle for the first time can feel like a big step. We are here to make it easy, welcoming and pressure-free.

Our cycle hire service gives you the chance to try a range of specialist and inclusive cycles in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you want to build confidence, ride for fun, or explore options for longer-term use, our team will help you get started.

Simple online booking

We now use Renticy to make booking straightforward and accessible. You can choose your cycle, pick a suitable time, and book online at your own pace.

As part of the booking process, you will be asked for:

• a refundable deposit

• a quick ID check

This helps us look after the cycles so they remain available for everyone.

Please book at least 48 hours in advance so we can prepare the right cycle for you.

A relaxed experience

Hire sessions take place between 10am and 4pm during our opening hours.

There is no expectation to be experienced or confident. Many people who hire a cycle are trying one for the first time. Our team will help you get comfortable and answer any questions before you set off.

If you are considering a longer-term loan or buying a cycle in the future, your booking can also work as a try-before-you-buy session.

We provide the essentials free of charge with every hire:

• Helmet

• Lock

• Lights

• Local cycle maps

Additional accessories can be added if you need extra support or comfort.

Easy arrival

We have free customer parking in our yard during our open hours, making arrival simple and close to the shop entrance.

Returning your cycle

Please return the cycle and all items:

• within your booked time

• in the same condition they were provided

Additional charges may apply for late returns or damage.
