Hase Trix

The Hase Trix recumbent tricycle is designed for smaller riders (from 4’1” upwards) who need the added stability of three wheels. Having all the benefits of the delta layout – agile handling, stability, and grip plus the safety of an elevated riding position, this is a great introduction to semi recumbent tricycles.

Features:

  • Very agile, smooth riding
  • Excellent safety and stability thanks to low centre of gravity
  • Ergonomically designed for kids
  • E-motor option

If you want to move forward, just put up your feet and lean back in your seat. A recumbent trike with a low centre of gravity, the Trix is so stable and agile that even riders with severe disabilities won’t have any problem leading the pack – and looking effortlessly cool while doing so. The Trix may not be able to move mountains, but it can ride around them, and triking over them is pretty fun too.

The Trix is well-equipped for special riders: with its high-quality disc brakes and special children’s brake levers. If needed, the optional fixed gear helps you keep the rhythm with your pedalling.

As a recumbent trike, the Trix is also particularly intuitive to ride because you can see your legs while you’re pedalling. This makes all the difference in the world. To make sure the rider’s feet are held securely in place, the pedals are equipped with toe clips and straps. Pedals with calf support, along with many other adaptive accessories, are also available. Other options: hydraulic coaster brake and single-hand controls.

What’s almost as fun as riding the Trix? Sharing it!

No disability, no Trix? Nonsense. There’s nothing like watching your friends’ faces when they take their first spin. If the height difference isn’t too great, the TRIX can be adjusted in a flash, thanks to the high-tech quick-adjust mechanism. In general, anyone between 4’1” (1.25 m) and 6’3” (1.90 m) in height can ride the Trix.

What else can you do with the Trix? Hang out, for example. The comfy seat feels like a hammock, the parking brake keeps you right where you want to be.

There are many options available for the Trix, this makes the cycle customisable for almost any rider. Please get in touch for advice of which options would work for you.

Adapt and Customise

Electric motor: Shimano Steps 6100

Seat in lower or higher position

Adjustable frame

5-point lap & shoulder harness system – with or without shoulder pads – for the front rider.

Differential: differentials allow both rear wheels to be driven – balancing out the drive forces – and this makes going round corners the same whichever way you turn. Without a differential all pedalling forces travel through one wheel – a differential makes it much less likely to lose traction in slippery conditions.

Other available options include a choice of forks, shock absorbers, gear-shift systems, crank sets, drive trains, front & rear wheels, brakes, seats, handlebars, fenders, lighting systems, racks and bags, seats including lap-belt and armrest, trailer hitch, rear view mirror, indicators and more.

Other colours are available at extra cost, in any of the standard RAL colours.

A range of adaptations is available. See the Accessories & Adaptations section of this website.
