Hase Trigo UP

The Hase Trigo Up is designed for anyone looking for a super-stable semi-recumbent tricycle with a conventional handlebar position. Offering all the handling benefits of the delta layout at an affordable price, our customers love the wonderfully comfortable, stable riding position with over-seat steering and its 8 speed hub gears.

Features:

  • Modular design
  • Flexible and easily adjustable
  • Superb agility
  • Low centre of gravity for safety and stability
  • E-motor option

Like its Kettwiesel sibling, the Trigo has a low seat between its rear wheels for outstanding stability. It’s a proven format which delivers confident cornering.

With 8 speeds, you can also enjoy speeding downhill, uphill or anywhere the road takes you.

The modules of the Trigo trike move along rails in the extruded main frame tube and are infinitely adjustable without tools. As a result, the recumbent Trigo can be quickly adjusted to a new rider. (Provided that the rider is between 4’7” (1.40 m) and 6’7” (2 m) in height. And provided you’re willing to share!)

For the length adjustment, all you have to do is turn a lever and slide the seat into the appropriate position. No need for tools and no need to shorten or lengthen the chain.

The Trigo Up has adjustable handlebars: both the angle and height are adjustable, ensuring that every rider can enjoy the perfect position for steering, gear shifting, and braking. And the seat tilt can be set to your preferred position using a quick-release mechanism.

The extras: accessories for everyday use. Once you’ve experienced how fast you can ride on a comfy, recumbent seat, you’ll be hooked. And if you plan on using the Trigo for more than simply sports and leisure rides, then be sure to check out the wide range of recumbent trike accessories.

Adapt and Customise

Electric motor: Shimano Steps E5000

5-point lap & shoulder harness system – with or without shoulder pads – for the front rider.

Differential: differentials allow both rear wheels to be driven – balancing out the drive forces – and this makes going round corners the same whichever way you turn. Without a differential all pedalling forces always travel through one wheel – a differential makes it much less likely to lose traction in slippery conditions.

Extension bar for riders 1.95m – 2.15m

Other available options include a choice of mudguards, racks and bags, seats including lap-belt and armrest, foldable fairings, trailer hitch, rear view mirror, indicators, wheel covers and more.

A range of adaptations is available. See the Accessories & Adaptations section of this website.
