PBTY flyer jpeg for websiteLive in York and looking to cycle with others or get back into cycling? Get Cycling, are launching a sociable, easyriding cycling club for anyone 55 or older. It will be informal, but with full support on all rides. We are even offering free bike loans, including specialised bikes and a companion rider if you have a disability!

To find out more come along to an Open Day at our HQ in Hospital Fields Road, Saturday 18th March, 2.00 till 4.00.  Bring your bike (if you have one) for a check-over and have a sociable time: with light refreshments.

One week later, on Saturday 25th March, the first ride takes place, from Hospital Fields Road, along the off road cycle route to Naburn Community Hall, for an indoor picnic and pedal-powered scalextric racing. Leaving at 10.30 returning 4.30. “I look forward to a relaxing ride with new friends”, says Jim McGurn, Get Cycling’s Chief Executive (aged 63).
