Pedal-Powered Scalectrix under development

February 17th, 2009

A sizeable cash grant has made it possible for us to take our pedal-powered Scalectrix into its next phase of development. We are in the advanced stages of producing a ‘plug-and-play’ pedal-power unit that can be used in a wide variety of fun and informative configurations: bubble machine, turntable, smoothie maker and of course, the Scalectrix racing game. It is our intention to produce a hand-crank version as a matter of priority. Whilst we concentrate our R&D energies on the engineering improvements required, we will be unable to fulfill any further orders for our existing PP Scalectrix. We are aiming to complete the new units by autumn 2009.
