BikeBoost Cycle-to-Work Loan and Support Programmes

Our BikeBoost projects increase numbers of regular cyclists by offering a chance for employees to give cycling a go with no cost, and with full support. We support people to overcome barriers to cycling by providing loan bikes, accessories, training, route planning support and incentives. Participants undertake to ride to work at least 50% of the days in the ‘challenge’ period.

We can accommodate up to 50 bike loans at each workplace, and our continuation rates show consistently that 70% of participants regularly cycle to work after one year.

This is a well tested programme which we pioneered over eight years ago, and which has been delivered to major companies and to local authorities throughout the UK. We have also developed this model to deliver large-scale community-based BikeBoost Challenges. These are also able to target specific groups in the community and specifically support healthy lifestyle initiatives. We will be happy to send you a case study for our recent work in Dundee.
